- Lead and manage a team consisting of Risk Identification, Recovery and Regulatory & Reporting, reporting to Chief Risk Officer
- Manage bad debt accounts with flexibility to minimize financial losses through recovery process and to accurately assess the provisioning requirement for these accounts
- Maintain close dialogue with front line (GB, CMB and GM) and Wholesale Risk Approval team to advise on appropriate structuring of credit facilities
- Conduct portfolio and sector reviews to assist GB/CMB in understanding and mitigating specific industry/sector risk
- Ensure the reporting of requested credit information to APH Risk and Regulator
- Contribute to the training of corporate front line (GB, CMB and GM) through delivery of relevant workshop sessions
- Support Group-wide Wholesale Risk initiatives / projects
- Maintain HSBC’s high internal control standards
